Millions of people die on the
roads, worldwide, as a direct result of drinking and driving;
many others will be disabled for life; some will be unemployed as a result of
their crime.
In the U.S. every 30 minutes, someone is killed in an alcohol-related crash.
Alcohol was involved in 41 percent of fatal crashes and 7 percent of all
police-reported crashes in 2001.
